A glaring oversight with the Ranger hero(s?)
equip charm animal
cap a pet
rezone and the pet is gone !
The pet needs to be made permanent to that hero and level up accordingly, otherwise 90% of the beasmastery line is pointless.
just like the cheating AI in the rest of the game: Heros equiped with vampiric weapons do not degen (safe bet zealous is the same story)

If you leave the game and you ordered your hero to stand somewhere he wont move to help the players still in the game like an ordinary npc.

That stone tablet monster at the end of the second mission is using an unknown skill, the description just reads (Monster skill) with no details of what it is actually doing.
Also, sometimes the last mob of skeletons sometimes spawn behind the boss and get trapped there.

Another bug; when exploring the Methani Keys I ordered the heroes to run somewhere, but I couldn't cancel the order afterwards so they refused to move. Normally there should be a red X to cancel it, but that button was deactivated.

Has anyone else had a problem with the monk hero? As in him running off in mid battle or before hand.
I have him set as m/me and the only energy management I have for him at the moment is energy tap.
I did not have his flag set because previosly he was fine, I was MM'ing and he stayed by me, did not even try to tank (I love that!), then a few hours later I'm fighting a mob and he gets a mind of his own and decides to run completely off the compass radar and find a different mob to do energy tap on and run back to me with mob in tow. He did this numerous times. A few hours later he was fine again.
Also I noticed he will only use healing breeze on himself, even if he and all the henches are at full health and no enemies around. I was using BOTM to heal the minions before we got going again, so I had him use healing breeze, expecting for him to cast it on me, since I was the only one not at full health.
One other minor thing is my nightfall's female necro's and female monk face skintone is much darker than their body skintone. ( My female dervish is fine however.) I picked the lightest body tone, don't remember where the faces were in the lineup. At their neckline you can see the difference, about a good 10 shades difference in fact. I was having 80's flashbacks. ( I remember those horrible foundation lines some of us had back then. )

I got the Sunspear Lieutenant quest, and without completing it, got the Sergeants quest..the Sergeants quest was showing in my Titles, but my Quest Log showed both..so I abandoned the Lieutenants quest. I nearly completed the Sergeants when my Titles suddenly changed back to Lieutenant and my quest points went back to zero....just a glitch I guess, as I carried on doing the quest and ended up Captain once the Lieutenants points maxed.

Re. Monk 'Hero': he's about as useless as Alesia and Sister Tai, I found. Their AI stands for Advanced Idiocy rather than any form of Intelligence.
I set him to defensive, and he ran into the fray. I set him to passive, and - you guessed it - he still ran right into the midst of the battle. He was set for pure heal and he spent more time dead than he did healing. After a while, I left him lay.
I've played healer. There's NO reason you have to be in the middle of aggro to heal your party unless you have touch skills equipped (and he did not).

I've played the preview through to the end. Didn't have a single crash, Err7 or any other Err.
I realise that hench/hero AI is not yet upto par, but it does need looking @.
I was in a hero/hench party. I died, as did another hero, and a hench. So I ordered Koss to use his Rebirth on me. (Yes I was selecting myself in the party list). So what does Koss do... he trots off down the beach to rebirth the dead henchie. Ok, I tried again.. this time he rebirthed the other dead hero. 3rd time lucky for rebirthing me.
And one other thing, I'd like to be able to cancel a hero's action.. I had the Ranger hero, casting Favourable winds willy-nilly all over the place. Often as soon as he zones in.. thereby messing up the start of the zone cos I have to wait for him to recharge. And as for Koss using rebirth in the MIDDLE OF A BATTLE.. well need I say more.. Ergo, I'd really like to be able to cancel a hero's action.. say by right clicking on the skill being used.

I have had a LOT of Err=007 this weekend, whether I was in the Preview or elsewhere. And, of course, always at the end of a mission/quest where everything was going like clock-work *sigh*.

Teamsize bug
I brought a team of 8 up from the Harbor in the south to do the quest which takes you to Joknur Diggings (which only allows 4-man parties).
This quest ends with you clicking a wall, which zones you into the Diggings but shows a cutscene outside.
Result:
Obviously this has something to do with the fact you are zoned into the Outpost by a cutscene... or something to do with the fact that I may have got into the Harbor outpost through a buggy locked gate?

I also managed to get a 7/8 man team into a supposedly 4/4 limited town. I can't remember which town it was, but I was surprised it didn't throw up an error or something.
This only happened on one occasion for me.

As mentioned in some previous posts here - it looks like Hero AI needs some work. Also, we need ways to specify when a hero should cast a spell and upon whom or what that spell should be directed. With Dunkoro having Mending, he will cast it upon all party members until he has one chit of regeneration left, and will not cast it upon himself if there are other party members without it active on them.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or by design, but while exploring, I notice that the Sunspear conscription orders expiring at certain points. I will have two or three active right away, then look in the corner of my screen a few minutes later after dealing with some mobs and notice one or two of them gone by that point. If there are time limits or other limitations, those need to be included in the blurbs when the cursor is hovering over the icons.
I also have noticed that many of the creatures are overpowered for players and NPC's in Zehlon Reach for their levels when just questing (up to about level 7 or 8). To minimize the XP grind, this area should be rebalanced towards lower level characters, or more opportunity should be given to advance to a higher level outside of the first two towns without having to grind away at mobs.
The number of Heros in relation to the party size may need to be looked at as well. Much of the tutorial island is soloable with Heros, but there are quests and missions that really need to have human party members in them, forcing players to choose which of their heros to bring along (as well as the requirements of certain quests and missions, and the fact that Heros only level when active in a party). I see a whole can of problems opening up here that makes the Assassin "lf master's group" in Factions pale by comparison. Again, based on the fact that GW originally was supposed to minimize grind, and be geared towards the casual player, I see a whole lot of extra grinding necessary in the early going than suits my taste.
I think more solo/hero questing opportunities in and around Kamadan to aid players and heros in reaching level 10 prior to reaching the Astralarium and Champion's Dawn would be good. I would also like to see some secondary profession quests available in the Fields like we have in the first two chapters. Though they tend to be repetative, I think they are essential for new players to be introduced to those professions and give them the best opportunity in choosing a secondary and its skills in a way that benefits their primary profession more so than the set up for this weekend's event

UPDATE 0.1: Upon reading another post in regards to drop rate subject, I think it bears repeating. Collectible item drop rates need to be increased, especially if you have a quest that requires gathering these objects active. Even currently in Factions, and the early months of Prophecies, the drop rates for the collectible items really forced a lot of solo grinding to gather the necessary amount of goods. Lets just remember the mantra: "Less Grind is Good." In regards to this, I would like to see Nightfall introduce a storage option that allows you to store these collectible items the same way you can crafting materials. It's tough to figure out which items you might need at any given time, such as the Naga Hides for the one Factions quest. Someone selling all their hides to free up a storage slot now has to go back and grind Nagas until they get more. Having this option auto detect which campaign a character currently is in will avoid the necessity of having a ton of tabs for each campaign.
UPDATE 0.2: In the Jokanur Diggings, part of the mission includes the bonus of not killing any more of the spirits - and what does Kormir do? Attack any spirit in sight. NPC's that we don't have direct control over need to only focus on the creatures that the party is actively attacking. All NPC allies also need to be controlled by the "all NPC" flag. I don't necessarily want Kormir running around with me in certain areas but to remain with the rest of the henchies and heroes as I commanded them.

There is a bug which you can use to get 6/4 and 12/8 teams. Hero's dont join the team until a person has fully loaded, so if a team is made up of 1 person with 2 heros and 1 person without heros then while the person with 2 heros is loading the other one can add 2 heros of his own, so that when the other eventually loads the team is 6/4. I found this while a friend was downloading an area and the box to add heros was useable. I didnt expect it to work but i tried it just in case, and it does.. Definately needs to be fixed, or else it could theoretically be used by 4 people(2 fast loaders and 2 slow loaders) to make a team 12/8...Or even 18/12 if theres zones with 12 man parties in Nightfall.. O.o

You cannot use the keys you have defined to target party members to target Heroes. I have F1-F8 set to target party members. When I play with a friend and each of us has one hero, F1 targets me, F2 targets the friend, and none of the rest target any heroes. This is bad for monks.
